A practical exercise for improving your self-talk
You need : a piece of paper, a timer, a cell phone
Write your name on the paper
take 5 minutes to write down all the things you're good at
call a close friend or family member, give them 30 seconds to tell you all the things they think you're good at. You don't get to say anything, just write down all they say
take those 2 things, write down 10 strengths you have as a leader and as a person.
Copy your list of 10 onto an index card
Tape that index card somewhere you’ll see it every day (mirror, headboard, door of your room)
SAY OUT LOUD THOSE 10 THINGS at LEAST once a day
