Episode 22 - It has been an interesting week and a bit where Stomzy, Wiley and a Wig of all things have have dominated recent news and memes. The ninetofivers share their opinions on these trending topics and wonder do we as a people make everything a joke? WW3 memes have come out in abundance since Trumps bombing of a senior Iranian official and whilst some people are outraged, the masses seem to be entertained by the influx of memes generated from this action. Are we just desensitised to events now or is this just a coping mechanism. Australia has been burning for months and yet whilst it is reported in mainstream media, the doesn't seem to be an overwhelming concern in the community proportional to the crisis at hand. Is January the best time to quit your job and start searching for a new one. Harry and Megan certainly think so, the ninetofivers discuss the furore behind this and the underlying reasons behind this. Many people hve claimed this is a racist act and yet many do not see it this way. How can people living in the same society see things so differently?
