2tones starts off the show this week with frustrating tales of discrimination, prejudice and encounters with difficult members of staff.  Why do people bring their own personal feeling into decisions they have no authority making? Is it a display of power or do they deem it as a challenge to their pride? Whatever the case, when staff are wrong and strong it completely goes against the ethos ‘the customer is always right’ and often leads to call for the manager. Depending on the manager’s assessment of that member of staff, they may back them or they may take control and lockdown the situation. Unfortunately, the government seem to be taking the same approach with the country as lockdown 2.0 approaches. Should this have come earlier? Will people comply with the new lockdown? When will this nightmare end? There are no clear answers, but institutions of education remain open and kids still need to be taken to school by their parents…or do they? At what age is it appropriate for kids to start going to school because at one point the saying, ‘it takes a village to raise a child’ seemed to resonate, as areas were community based but has this sense of community been lost? With the repulsive act that took place following a failed kidnapping, is it more dangerous now than it has ever been? What should be done with child predators. Should the problem be dealt with further up the chain?  From sexual predator register to those on the suspected terrorist list, so often the perpetrators come from this pool of people so should more be done to monitor them? Or is it a complex issue in need of a variety of answers. Find out in an emotionally charged episode of TheNineToFivers Podcast. Follow us, Like, Share & Subscribe biolinky.co/theninetofivers
