Together we stand divided we fall sounds good in premise but what happens when opportunities seem limited? So often we suffer from a crabs in a barrel mentality and sometimes that is because that is the reality. If opportunities are limited not everybody can thrive. What would happen if those who thrive dropped a hand to those below them and what if that notion was continued all down the chain. Would things start to change? It is certainly an interesting thing to consider as a united people certainly have the power to create mass change. The sway of a friend or loved one can have a dramatic behaviour on our own behaviour but how far do we allow the actions of others to influence our own? Is drinking alcohol sheep mentality or just a pathway to enjoyment? If you canāt enjoy yourself without alcohol is it a problem or even an addiction? Addictions can be hard to detect when there are no obvious problems in our lives, whether it be alcohol, drugs, food, sex, or otherwise how do we know the balance between enjoyment, overindulgence and addiction. Does it require something major to happen or does someone need to point it out. Whilst say fame and clout are addictive there are certain celebs in precarious situations that might argue that it is exhausting and invasive lifestyle where mistakes and flaws in their character are exposed and magnified beyond measure. With the latest sting of celebrities to have their public affairs and allegations of domestic violence blasted on the news outlets, it begs the question when should allegations affect your work life? Can the two be separated? What about when your work requires you to become someone that is not representative of the person you are at home like actors in sex scenes.
