Description

It has been another heavy week with several deaths from the Prince Phillip to the hip hop icon DMX, two influential figures who had vastly different people mourning for them. As a British person, it is right to mourn an American rapper over the most senior Prince of the country? People feel connected to people for a wild variety of reasons and the same is true with disconnect, not everybody feels the royals are relatable. Will they stand the test of time when the Queen inevitably passes on? Time will tell and as the ruler changes the country will have to adapt. Someone who has transitioned a number of times is the Rock who has surprisingly gained a wide fan base to become the president of the United States. Is this a sign of the times where anything is accessible as long as you are rich and famous enough or does this just lend credence to transferable skill of excellent individuals? A chapter of a book does not tell the full story but if that chapter is at the end, it’s importance is emphasised dramatically. It begs the question not only in literature but in life, what importance does the start, middle and end have and is it possible to have a good project/life overall if a section or two is mediocre compare to the rest? Find out our thoughts on all this and more in another engaging edition of TheNineToFivers Podcast!
