Episode 11 covers Dr. Korie Grayson's STEM journey from her science fair project days where she won numerous awards with the help of her mom to her incredible research on prostate cancer that helped her earn a PhD in Biomedical Engineering. Dr. Grayson takes us through her undergrad experience at a Historical Black College & University and shares how she went from her aunt's couch to starting a PhD program at Cornell University. She also shares her experience as a black woman in STEM and how she is using her voice and actions to break down more barriers for the next generation of young black girls who want to join the STEM industry.
