Mike Wine has struggled with addiction throughout his life. He has faced adversity time and time again. The sudden death of the love of his life, his oldest son also died in a tragic accident at 15, he also claims to have attended more friends funerals than friends weddings, and his own battles with addiction nearly took his life as well. When asked who Mike Wine would be without addiction, he states, "someone who would have achieved most or all of his dreams." His hope is that his story can save at least one person from going down a similar path. Through all of the struggle, his music has never stopped.
