I recently traveled to Anderson Indiana to visit with Marquiese McClendon. Marquiese is a rapper from East Central Indiana who has been writing, producing and performing his music for 2 decades. He has partnered with many of the industries top performers and producers as he has honed his craft.
Currently, he is collaborating with the country artist Hosier to develop Project Paradise. This non-profit organization is directed toward mentoring youth, and providing opportunity for those who have a passion for music. Their team of professionals are dedicated to providing career focused, post secondary hands-on educational programs. This program is designed to help the youth reach their fullest potential. They have been speaking with schools and getting kids signed up in multiple cities.
Project Paradise specializes in trauma awareness and recovery through music focused internships structured to provide hands on experience.
With over 150 songs in his catalogue, Marquiese is poised to hit the road in support of his latest album to be released this year.
