I love my family! I love my families story! But, I,ve never felt like I had all the information; the whole story. So, I went on a deep dive to learn more, and boy-oh-boy did I learn more! This 'sode explores my Schick side of the family, and the uncovering of my grandfather being biologically NOT a Schick, but being the son of Robert Henry Settlemeyer, who died of TB at te age of 26. He was not a father to my grandfather. My grandfather was born Robert William Allen in 1910. He became a Schick two years later when My great-grandmother (Emma Allen) married John Schick. listen in and enjoy!
