- The Volusia County Courthouse Annex is now named the Steven C. Henderson Judicial Center, honoring Judge Henderson with a bronze plaque unveiling.
- Daytona Beach International Airport has been named Florida's top commercial service airport by FDOT, a title it also earned in 2021 for its safety, aesthetics, and innovation.
- VoRide is offering free rides up to 8 miles to and from the DeLand and DeBary SunRail stations.
- A new Emergency Management app is available for download to keep residents informed during crises.
- Community meetings on road improvements are scheduled from August 22 to August 29 at various locations.
- Join the International Coastal Cleanup on September 21 at over 20 sites, and register by September 8.
- The FDEP now offers 100% reimbursement for sand placement through the Hurricane Restoration Reimbursement Grant Program for oceanfront property owners.
