Amidst the Marcus Williams and Morgan Moses intro press conferences, word got out that Za'Darius Smith's potential signing had hit a snag, a development that would ultimately lead to the star pass rusher not landing with the Ravens. After that wild bit of news, the Ravens subsequently signed another former homegrown player of theirs, DT Michael Pierce to a three year deal.
