November 25th is White Ribbon Day and in this episode of Powered by Authenticity I am joined by Rebecca Phelps to discuss her survival of domestic violence. Here, we also discuss the importance of educating young girls on protecting themselves against being in an abusive relationship.
If we are going to continue to drive equity for women, a portion of this passion needs focus on helping women who are victims of violence. There are more women hurt in a domestic violence incident than in car accidents annually*.
