Welcome back fellow movie nerds!! This week, join us as we discuss two spectacular actresses, Natalie Portman and Sandra Bullock!
Natalie Portman is an Oscar Award winning actress with three nominations and one win for Black Swan (2011). Natalie started acting at the young age of eleven, and has a long career of varying roles. She has been Queen Amidala in Star Wars: The Phantom Menace (1999), a young woman fighting against an oppressive and tyrannical government in V for Vendetta (2005), and has been a competitive, perfectionist ballerina in Black Swan. She remakes herself for each and every role, and is such a delight to watch.
Sandra Bullock has a prolific career spanning back to the early 1980's. Sandra has been in many a comedy movie (usually rom-com), and she is also known for her dramatic works. Sandra is a household name and is very well known for her role as the tollbooth operator who falls in love in While You Were Sleeping (1995), the scorned Birdee Pruitt in Hope Floats (1998), and Gracie Hart in Miss Congeniality (2000). Sandra has had two Oscar nominations and won for The Blind Side in 2010.
