ABOUT 4,000 WEEKS :
Four Thousand Weeks: Time Management for Mortals is a 2021 non-fiction book written by British author Oliver Burkeman.
The title draws from the premise that "the average human lifespan is absurdly, terrifyingly, insultingly short... Assuming you live to be eighty, you’ll have had about four thousand weeks."  Four Thousand Weeks is a philosophical exploration of the modern relationship with time, along with how humans can make the most of a finite existence.
The book was a New York Times bestseller.
4000 weeks is a book that challenges the conventional wisdom of time management and productivity. It argues that humans have a limited and finite amount of time on earth, and that trying to do everything, be everything, and have everything is a recipe for frustration and unhappiness. Instead of seeking more control, efficiency, and optimization, the book suggests embracing the reality of our limitations, the inevitability of trade-offs, and the value of uncertainty, imperfection, and play. Drawing on insights from philosophy, psychology, history, and literature, the book offers a fresh and liberating perspective on how to live well in 4,000 weeks.
