Introduction:

Welcome to Christ Talk Canada, I’m your host Pastor Michael. As most of you know this podcast is meant to teach believers how to have an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. We dive deeply into Christian Topics of the Bible and how they relate to our daily lives. Today, we are discussing the important question of who called you to ministry. This is a question that every Christian who is involved in ministry must ask themselves, and it is one that we will be exploring through the lens of the Bible.

Message:

First, let's look at the importance of this question. The calling to ministry is not something that should be taken lightly. It is a serious responsibility that requires dedication, commitment, and a deep love for God and His people. Without a clear understanding of who called us to ministry, we risk losing sight of our purpose and becoming ineffective in our service to God.

So, who does the Bible say called us to ministry? Let's start by looking at 1 Corinthians 1:1-3:

"Paul, called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother, To the church of God which is at Corinth, to those who are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all who in every place call on the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ."
