Listen

Description

In this episode, nutrition coach (and my fitness partner) Michelle Farrell  talks about what nutrition for women over 40 looks like with the purpose of long term health rather than deprivation, what to include in every meal, how much protein women need, and how the crucial role that protein, carbs and fats contribute to a healthy body.

Diets are often what midlife women turn to as a reaction to weight gain. Coach Michelle challenges the status quo that the scale weight represents ideal body goals.

Michelle provides 3 strategies to change one’s nutrition approach.

  1. Put away the scale.

  2. Practice body neutral affirmations.

  3. Create micro goals which accumulate to make larger lifestyle changes.
