On Episode 29 of BPerryFilms Podcast I explained the backstory for my business and how I became an Artistic Creator and the CEO of BPerryFilms & The Artistic Creator Academy™. AT age 3 I was a self starter from the jump. I told my parents that I wanted to take dances and attend as many performing arts schools as I could. By age 8 I got the opportunity to see the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater perform for the first time and it changed my point of view. It inspired me to get into choreography and start my productions just like Aliey. I used to put on performances charging my friends and family every year. I charged $10 for Children and $20 for Adults that I organized and financed myself.
At age 17 I had to make a big decision in my life to attend College or pursue dance full time in New York. I decided to pursue my journey in education to learn the fundamental skills that would pivot the way I handled business to open my mind to new insights and experiences in that field. June 7th 2021. I launched my company BPerryFilms helping shape the way we digest film. I wanted to put my audience and clients first to market their products and services through educational services through an educational platform. Over the past year I have collaborated with brands such as Boston Arts Academy, Thinkific, WeWork, Compass, and much more.
My hope for the new year was to join the YouTube Partner Program by March of 2022. I also wanted to push out new products, services, and even courses. I’m proud that now in 2024 I was able to accomplish many of those goals. It just took a lot of work and having the right tools with the proper mindset.
