In this video, I want to bring clarification to Small Channels and Newcomers to the YouTube space on the new requirements of the new method of monetization. YouTube had announced that they will be allowing small creators to get into the YouTube Partner Program Lite version. This would allow creators who have 500 subscribers, 3 Public Uploads in the past 90 days and 3,000 watch hours or 3 Million YouTube Short Views to get access to features such as Super Chats, Super Stickers, Super Thanks, and Memberships. In this video, I share what that means for creators. I will be explaining the real reason for it and how people feel about the real modifications to see if it's truly worth it to the Creator and if it is just for the benefit of YouTube the platform.
For those of you who are not familiar with the features, it's more geared to streamer Creators and not for most people. This would solely rely on just the community that you build through your Content Creation Journey. As mentioned in this video this would require more labor and not all niches and people are created and have the same opportunities as each other. Many channels struggle just to get their first 100 and it's been about 5 years for most creators to make their first 1,000. You often hear that YouTube is a Marathon and not a sprint but that's usually told by people who have a large following so their thoughts aren't realistic as your perspective.
The rules are still the same to achieve Adsense from the YouTube Partner Program requiring you to have 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 watch hours or 10 Million Short Views.
