• The Toledo Walleye begin their Division finals tomorrow May 5th against the Cincinnati Cyclones
o They will play in Cincinnati or for the first 2 games, then come back May 10th to play 3 in Toledo
• Petr Klima passes away at the age of 58. He was a Red Wings draft pick back in 1983, who went on to play with TBL, LAK, PIT, and win a cup with EDM in 1990.
• Simon Edvinsson Underwent successful surgery on his left shoulder on Monday, we missed that somehow. Recovery time expected to be 4-6 months.
o Thoughts on this?
o Does Wallinder or Johansson make a push for that 3rd spot on the LHD or do they put Chiarot back there instead of on the right? This is obviously all depending on what Steve does in this off season.

• Darryl Sutter is relieved of his duties as Calgary Head Coach
o Huberdeau had some not so nice words about the situation
o Guess Sutter was not well liked among the players. Surprised?
• Ryan Reynolds and Snoop Dogg are reported to be in on the Ottawa Senators
o Supposedly Reynolds is ready to put in a $1b offer, cant imagine what Snoops offer is lol
• Thoughts on 1st games of the 2nd round?
o Pretty crazy both Pavelski and Draisaitl put up 4 goals each

• Zach Benson
o 5’10” 159lbs left handed winger
o Will most likely play in the NHL as a top 6 winger
o Currently plays with the Winnipeg Ice in the WHL
o 98ptsin 60 games this season (36 goals, 62 assists) and 12pts in 10 playoff games (4goals, 8 assists)
o Ranked anywhere as high as 4th and as low as 9th in majority of mocks
o Me personally, at first glance I see a Caufield situation where he might fall in the draft due to his size alone. When will NHL teams learn LOL
o Competes hard for the puck and to help his team win games
o Has some really good hockey IQ where he knows where to be on the ice and make the nice plays
o Actually plays some really nice defense for someone his size
o not the fastest player and could definitely use some work on his skating
o definitely needs to put on some strength
o needs to stop trying to force plays that aren’t there
