In this podcast we chat with Jill about her work with Flexible Work Solutions to support colleagues working in Higher Education to understand how to create an inclusive environment by understanding micro-aggressions and by being an active bystander.

Jill is CEO/Managing Director of Flexible Work Solutions Limited, a small business that offers a range of training, consultancy and practical tools to address EDI issues. The company offers expert advice and guidance on a range of topics, including promoting equity, diversity and inclusion, inclusive leadership and addressing workplace bullying and harassment. At present, Jill is focusing largely on issues relating to race and gender, particularly addressing bias and micro-aggressions, as well as promoting allyship and being an active bystander.

Jill has over twenty-five years’ experience working in this area of work, including more than 10 years running her own business. She has delivered training and consultancy at more than 100 organisations, mainly within higher education, and is currently developing online versions of her courses and creating additional publications to reach an even wider audience via her new business, Inclusion Solutions Ltd.
