I don't think the Axie team prioritizes people making a living playing Axie, aka the little guy. It might be a bit of an ego thing. They want people to like the game for the game, regardless of earning potential. That's fair, but a huge reason for Axies success is the earning model, there's no denying it. Their view on SLP saturation is simply reduce earnings... over and over. This isn't working, it completely ignores the daily player base and what made the game so successful in the 1st place. I argue that reducing SLP is a bad idea. If you keep cutting out the base(daily earners), eventually the tree top(High $ Axie asset holders) will fall. Rather the Axie team should embrace their role as the best play to earn game ever created and cater to the little guy keeping this game alive. Adjust the ways in which SLP is earned and create substantial sinks to combat increased supply. Specifically focusing on incentivizing the daily players. This is the base that keeps Axie going. Without them, this whole thing falls apart.
