Malacañang on Monday, April 3, announces the locations of the four (4) additional Enhanced Defense Cooperation Agreement (EDCA) sites considered as ‘suitable and mutually beneficial’ for both the Philippines and the United States of America. EDCA is one of the mechanisms designed to bolster the alliance between the US and the Philippines under the Philippine-U.S. Mutual Defense Treaty (MDT).
