Adamson University Chemical Engineering student John Matthew Salilig died of blunt force trauma during the hazing ceremony conducted by Tau Gamma Phi in Biñan, Laguna. His body was later found by the police in a shallow grave in Imus, Cavite, on February 28, 2023.
Salilig’s case cannot be described as an isolated one and hazing is still a continuing issues in many schools in the country. To discuss the topic, Brian Castillo is joined by Triskelion Council of Quezon City Executive Secretary Vincent Camacho.
