She is currently a Senior Director Talent Acquisition at ServiceNow.
I can still remember, when I had my interviews with ServiceNow about a Recruiter role, I really challenged her about her point of view on leadership.
And the reason is quite simple. I just wanted and need an inspiring leader.
What can I say? Alia blew me away and still does. Unfortunately, I don't have her anymore as my direct manager but I am still lucky that her guidance and vision are implemented in the management team.
It's easy for a manager to pull the plug and say ciao to someone when it's a hard time. But no, she didn't.
