The Texas Longhorns saw their spring sports head in different directions over the weekend, with the baseball team bowing out of the postseason at home while the softball team advanced to the Women's College World Series in Oklahoma City.

The baseball team, the No. 2 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament couldn't overcome the pitching of the UTSA Roadrunners -- leaving runners on base while also struggling in the field.

Several hours north, the ladies were dominant in the WCWS thanks to the pitching of Teagan Kavan. She took care of business against Florida and Oklahoma as the starting pitcher and then came in to close things out after Mac Morgan kicked things off strong.
