This week I discuss what I’m reading currently - Blood Orange Night by Melissa Bond - which is a memoir and my current fave genre. However, there is a lot of negativity around writing romance or reading romance. I want to remove that stigma. Romance writing is an industry that churns more than $1B annually. So if you’re writing a book or story or movie and it leans into love and you’re upset about that, I encourage you to listen to this episode and redefine for yourself what constitutes writing that’s taken seriously.
