It's evident that discipleship is about more than knowledge; it is about transformational experience. It is to encounter Jesus. Unfortunately, our lack of understanding delays or can even bypass what Jesus seeks to reveal to each of us in a profoundly personal way. Our lack of understanding can also
block God's opportunities and challenge us further in our growth as disciples. We need to be disciples, first of all, not religious activists or Christian intellectuals but people who perceive the realities of our faith and how to comprehend what it means to be a Christian. How far are you willing to understand Jesus? So far as laying down your life in the process!
