After a break over the Summer, Philippa and Robbie are recording new episodes in their signature style. Relaxed, deep, sometimes irreverent but always real! They are so happy to be back. They will have a few guests for you too over the coming months.
They really enjoyed being part of the recent HSP Awareness Summit and new listeners are so welcome to the podcast community. It's great to have you here along with the wonderful, faithful listeners who tune in each week. Thank you all for being here.
This week is all about being our unique selves. We're HSPs but that doesn't mean we're all the same - after all we're human beings and we come in many forms. Take Robbie and Philippa, they share a mission and values but they're really quite different. They share how the trait shows up for them and Robbie also shares an idea from an article by André Solo on the Sensitive Refuge website where he talks about 3 types of HSPS - supersensers, superfeelers and aesthetes. They both identify with all 3 but to a different extent. This is just one way of looking at the trait and they encourage you to embrace your own unique gifts and shine in the world. They hope you will get to a place where, like Robbie, you can say "It's my trait!".
Believing the trait is a real thing is the first big step for most of us and once you know you have the trait, learn what it offers you and the world. You are so needed. They also mention that they're not bypassing the challenges of the trait, and those challenges are real, but what gets them fired up is talking about the strength that comes with sensitivity.
They'd like to do an episode listing all the ways the trait shows up and they need your help to do that. Please get in touch and let them know so they can do an episode that will help other HSPs see themselves and help them on their journey of acceptance of the trait.
Thanks for listening and being with Philippa and Robbie on this path. You are so appreciated.
