Art has been his passion since childhood, and his mother's unwavering support encouraged him to turn it into a career.
Initially working in kitchens, particularly at the high-end resort Canyon Ranch in Tucson, he contemplated culinary school. However, an unexpected opportunity to learn tattooing led Danny to shift his focus from food to art. After completing his apprenticeship in Tucson, he moved to Albuquerque, where he’s been for the past 15 years.Starting at Rival Tattoo upon his arrival in Albuquerque, he spent just over a year there before joining 71 Tattoo for a remarkable 15-year tenure. Despite being relatively new to tattooing, Danny was fortunate to receive valuable guidance and honed both his skills and artistic style.In recent years, he recognized the need to prioritize self-care. Driven by my passion and eagerness to learn, tattooing had consumed me, taking a toll on both my physical and mental well-being. He stepped back, focusing on fitness, therapy, and working with an energy healer and coach.Though he still struggles to find the right balance between his tattooing career and personal life, he is now a much happier person. Over the last year, his life has undergone a major shift—he got married, became a parent, and opened his own tattoo shop Tiger Wraith Tattoo.
