In this episode I chat with the incredible, Sarah Thomas! Sarah is a Regional Technology Coordinator in Maryland. She is also a Google Certified Innovator, Google Education Trainer, and the founder of the EduMatch movement, a project that empowers educators to make global connections across common areas of interest. She also founded Edumatch publishing, a fast-growing educational publishing company that has 39 titles in it’s incredible library. She has presented internationally, participated in the Technical Working Group to refresh the 2017 ISTE Standards for Educators, and is a recipient of the 2017 ISTE Making IT Happen award. She is also an Affiliate Professor at Loyola University in Maryland. Sarah is a co-author of the ISTE Digital equity series, Closing the Gap. I loved our conversation about Sarah's journey into education, her story of starting the Edumatch movement and Edumatch publishing, gamification, her thoughts on education beyond COVID19, and more! Sarah is such an inspiration! You will love what she has to share! Connect with Sarah: Twitter & Instagram: @sarahdateechur
