“The world needs more strong women”
Today’s show is with Cheeny Plante. Cheeny has always approached challenges with a unique perspective. By cultivating a positive and can’t-quit attitude she has been able to achieve things that others might scoff at. This includes being one of the few females to ever become a SERE Instructor and being an extremely successful contestant on the survival-based show, Naked and Afraid. She shares insight to how it’s okay to be different and important to take
the time to learn who you would like to be. We talk about ways forward for a happier world where people are more connected to each other and nature.
Cheeny is an 8-year veteran of the United States Air Force and a 3-time contestant on Naked and Afraid. She successfully conquered the traditional challenge in season 14, episode 10, ‘Battle of the Sexes’ and then the 8-part Solo series both taking place in South Africa, albeit in very different climates. Cheeny is currently competing in the Last One Standing competition that is airs on Sunday nights. Make sure to check it out!
