Today’s episode is with Brian “Box” Brown”. Brian is an American cartoonist who specializes in comics. Not only has he established himself in this arena, but he has also spent time on the New York Times Bestseller List with his graphic novel based on the professional wrestler Andre The Giant called Andre the Giant: Life and Legend. He has won an Eisner award (the Academy Award for comics!) and has written and illustrated many more award winning books and comics.
Brian has been using cannabis for as long as he can remember. He uses cannabis to help him with self-described debilitating anxiety and also to focus when he is doing his comics. One of these comics and Box’s current passion is a nationally syndicated strip that is called Legalization Nation, which deals with the complex issue of the federal legalization of cannabis.
We talk about the stigma that still exists around the plant even in the face of ever mounting evidence to the contrary, the differences that exist between state markets and even suggest some solutions for a healthy and happier world. Episode is streaming wherever you get your shows!
