Today’s episode is with Marianne Williamson. Marianne is a spiritual leader, best selling author, founder of many successful peace projects and is currently running for President of the United States. Her vision for this country is one of hope, where We the People take back control from overreaching government agencies and the mega corporations that currently dictate most aspects of our lives. I think we can all agree that serious change is needed in this nation and it certainly won’t come from the establishment.
During the episode we deep dive into Marianne's ideas and policies for a better world. We talk about the current situation in New Hampshire where the primary is being called “meaningless” by the Democratic National Convention, as well as the challenges being presented in other states, such as North Carolina, Tennessee, Florida and Massachusetts where she is being left off the ballot in a clear case of candidate suppression. We talk about how 60 % of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck and have zero room for error or growth in their lives. She explains her plan to instill an economic bill of rights that every citizen should be entitled to. We talk about the mess that is healthcare, the growing number of overdose deaths and the potential for plant medicine to be a healing part of our society. Her plan to combat the wars we are currently involved with centers around the creation of a Department of Peace that would operate similarly to the military in terms of training and education but with a different charge - to truly bring peace to inside and outside of our borders.

I hope that you will come out and participate in the democratic process with me and hear what she has to say. Our democracy is being taken from us and the current front runners have proved they are the opposite of progress. This is our country and we are going to take it back.
