Today’s episode is with Toni Nagy. Toni is a writer, a comedian, and a thought provoker. She is the owner of Side Stream Studio and has been producing content for over 15 years where you can often see her interpreting her feelings through dance! Through her dynamic storytelling she makes you laugh hard and think harder. We had some vintage connection and truly had an amazing conversation that I wish we all could be having.
During the episode we talk about people pleasing and self-censorship and how these are no way to live. She shares how people are often not ready or not willing to have deep conversations and how asking for consent can be helpful. We chat about how people avoid boredom at all costs and how gender roles influence our daily lives. We touch on topics like rape culture and how Toni argues that it greatly affects men as well as women.
