Today's episode is with Bill Dagiau. In 2007, Bill and his wife started Annie's Angels, a non-profit which provides aid to New Hampshire families suffering from life threatening disease, disability, or illness. Grants for Annie's Angels are not limited to specific expenses and during their time they have answered 9220 requests and raised over 5.5 million dollars. This is in addition to being the fiscal sponsor which is designed to help fundraisers meet their goal. They are involved in numerous other events, including The Heavenly Ball, The UCANNB2B toy drive and the Walter Burns Fishing Day.
During the episode he takes me through all parts of the charity including its spiritual founding and its humble beginnings. He tells me about the hardships people experience while facing illness and disability and how his organization has helped families overcome these tough times. He tells me about how the gaming industry is entwined with the non-profits of NH and how they help one another.
