Today's episode is with Jack Roosevelt. Jack comes from one of the most storied families in American history. His grandfather was President Franklin Delano Roosevelt and his great uncle was President Teddy Roosevelt. Jack is an entrepreneur who started his career in energy finance and has since founded Lucida Club, a cannabis software company that helps brands expand their awareness.
During the episode we talk about his upbringing, including the accident that contributed to his fathers passing and his subsequent move to the UK. He tells me stories of his family and we discuss where they might land in today's political landscape. We talk about the Mennonite community and their philosophy that we always need to change to grow. He shares how he has been using transcendental meditation for over a decade and has recently been on a new health journey with diet and exercise.
Ultimately this was a fun conversation with an awesome and down to earth guy who has some really neat perspectives on our history and culture.
