In this episode, I had a conversation with Scott Wolfson & Dave Szish, the founders of Skunkfoot Farms. Since 2017, they have been cultivating cannabis in Maine, earning accolades and winning awards for their exceptional work. Currently, they are focused on expanding their operations to the Garden State. These individuals possess a fascinating background, having been trained as glass artists at the Tyler School of Art at Temple University, although they have never blown a pipe. Their shared passion for live music played a significant role in their connection, and now they are forging a path and establishing a reputation for themselves.
Their extensive knowledge of cannabis cultivation stems from their experience in aquaponics, which taught them about the farming business, as well as Korean natural farming, which they utilize to consistently enhance the quality of their product. During our conversation, we delved into the origins and historical significance of hash, as well as the ongoing revolution surrounding it. Lastly, we touched upon the themes of love and acceptance. It is worth noting that the night before our recording, Scott's father passed away, yet he demonstrated incredible strength by joining us and sharing his insights.
