This is a special presentation of Dr. BeeWell. Yesterday we had the pleasure of interviewing Lily Tang Williams who is running for congress in New Hampshire's 2nd district. You've likely heard of Lily from her viral clips but do you know her? She is a regular person whose background and experience could be incredibly valuable to our country. Her candidacy honestly gives me hope that politics can still be saved from the elite, big money forces trying to control
our democracy.
I grew up in a blue household. My dad supported our family with his union job and continues to support himself with the pension he earned. To me - this was powerful. Someone who possessed work ethic, determination and "street smarts" could elevate their family just like the educated white-collar workers. It was the anti-war and anti-censorship party and as a young man who liked to speak his mind and believed love is the utmost force in the universe, this appealed to me.
However, it is impossible to overlook what has changed. Whether it is having no control over how our money is spent, the food and pharma system that is poisoning us, or the general lack of accountability our government has to its people, we have serious issues not being solved.
This video makes it pretty clear who should be representing NH in congress and I am happy to endorse my new
friend – Lily Tang Williams!
