Today we are going deeper on this past weekend’s sermon titled, “Cleansed” with an emphasis on Luke 17:12-19 |The Leper and the rich young rulerfound in Mark, Matthew, and Luke. In Luke 17:12-19, the
focus is on ten lepers who approach Jesus for healing from their physical
ailment (leprosy). After their healing, only one of them returns to thank
Jesus, which emphasizes gratitude and faith. In Luke 18, the rich young ruler comes to Jesus with a question about obtaining eternal life. This story
explores the challenge of letting go of worldly attachments for the sake of
spiritual salvation.
