Introducing Brittany Pound, our Children’s Ministry Director, and our exciting new children’s ministry program, “Kids Club”! Here are the key points from today episode that capture the essence of what Kids Club is all about:
Flexibility and Outreach: Kids Club offers a unique approach where children can start anytime without feeling behind. We encourage a welcoming atmosphere where inviting friends and embracing an outreach mentality are key elements.
Spacious Growth: With our Kids Club program taking place on Sunday nights, we have the advantage of utilizing additional building spaces, allowing us to expand and create ample room for growth. This provides us with the opportunity to host engaging large group worship lessons, reminiscent of the energy seen during VBS.
Family-Friendly Environment: Kids Club aims to create an environment where families can engage in learning, growth, service, and worship together. Our program ensures that families don't feel burdened with extra commitments after busy school and work weeks. It's a chance to enjoy fun activities and grow alongside one another.
Fun with Purpose: While fun is a vital tool, our primary objective at Kids Club is to foster a deeper relationship with Jesus. We understand that the initial draw might be the enjoyable activities, yet our ultimate goal is to lead children to a place where their relationship with Christ flourishes.
Missional Mindset: We're excited to expand our children's service projects, helping young hearts cultivate a missional mindset. By providing tools to shine as lights in the darkness, we're nurturing a sense of purpose and service in our young participants.
Biblical Training: A strong emphasis at Kids Club lies in equipping students with the necessary skills to navigate the Bible confidently. We teach them how to open, read, and study the Word, recognizing its indispensable role in guiding their lives as faithful Christians.
Teen Involvement: We highly value the role of small group leaders, who are our dedicated volunteer ministry partners. This special interaction allows our teens to actively engage with and positively impact the lives of the children. It's a unique way for our teens to contribute and make a difference.
