Description

Dear Church Family,

Today, we gather to explore the profound importance of our mission as followers of Jesus Christ, guided by the words of the Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 5:14-21.

Verse 14: "Christ's love compels us to action, transforming our lives. It's the essence of our faith, rooted in His sacrifice that altered our destiny and purpose."

Verse 15: "We're no longer living for ourselves but for the One who gave His life for us. Our mission is devotion and service to our Redeemer."

Verse 16: "Our mission changes our perspective. We no longer see people in the flesh but as souls in need of redemption."

Verse 17: "Our mission calls us to participate in restoring God's creation. Through Christ, we are made new, bringing hope, healing, and reconciliation."

Verse 18: "Our mission is grounded in God's nature, reconciling us through Christ and entrusting us with the ministry of reconciliation."

Verse 19: "God's heart is reconciliation, not condemnation. Our mission is to declare forgiveness and grace through Christ to all."

Verse 20: "We are Christ's ambassadors, making His appeal to the world, urging others to be reconciled to God through faith."

Verse 21: "Our mission is anchored in the great exchange: Christ took our sin, and we become the righteousness of God."

Christ's love compels us to be on mission. We live for Him, see through His love, and bring reconciliation to a broken world. Let's embrace our role as ambassadors of Christ, participating in His divine mission to bring hope and salvation. May God bless and use us as instruments of His grace. Take time and personal reflection after this podcast episode to consider many of the opportunity to serve our community and be on mission for Jesus Christ. It is the way that we were designed, and it is the way we must be in order for his kingdom to come, and his will to be done. Amen.
