Our guest today is Chris Patton. Chris is the CEO of His Way at Work, a non-profit organization that empowers business leaders to create sustainable cultures of care. Chris and his team work with leaders across so many sectors to implement vision, strategy and an operating system that is built on a foundation of the eternal perspective of our businesses – in other words, our businesses belong to God before they belong to us, and we are called to steward them well, with an eternal perspective in mind.
My challenge for you today, then, is this:
What seemingly small thing can you offer up to the Lord right now? Chris gave some time and thought to writing a blog. Maybe you need to be writing, too? Or maybe for you, it’s a small bit of your time to volunteer somewhere? Maybe it’s taking the time to get up 15 minutes earlier and spend that time with the Lord each morning. Maybe you can start tithing to your local church? Scripture reminds us in Zechariah: Do not despise these small beginnings, for the LORD rejoices to see the work begin. What small thing can you give? I’d love to hear your story when you do! I can’t wait to see what He does with what you give Him.
