Episode Description

In this Almost Daily episode I dig into how easy it is to trade real presence for the recording of a moment. We live in a time where our camera rolls and social feeds make it simple to replay highlights, yet that convenience can pull us out of the actual experience. I share a recent observation from a WWE premium live event in Paris. As performers made their entrances, countless phones were up to capture it. The energy was huge, yet many of us were seeing it through a screen instead of with our own eyes.

This is not an anti tech rant. I love documenting life, and I get why we create for our audiences and for ourselves. The question is about balance. Are we recording memories while missing the memory forming in real time. Where is that line for you.

I want you to reflect on a moment you wish you had been more present for. Was it a concert. A game. A family milestone. A quiet everyday moment that mattered. If you feel called to share, email me your story. Tell me what you missed and what you want to do differently the next time you feel the urge to perform and post instead of participate.
