Episode Description:
In this episode of The Daryl Perry Podcast, I’m giving you a real-time update on how I’m adjusting my cardio routine while recovering from a lingering foot injury. I’ve been experimenting with daily cardio minimums using the stair climber and recumbent bike, aiming to find a sustainable foundation that keeps my body moving without aggravating my heel or knee pain.

I talk about what’s working, what isn’t, and how I'm using a mix of intervals, mobility, and stretching to keep things progressing. You’ll also hear how I’m listening to audiobooks during these sessions to keep my mind engaged instead of looping through the same music playlist.

This episode is a behind-the-scenes look at how I make adjustments based on how my body is responding, while staying consistent with activity and staying mindful of recovery. I also share my thought process around testing limits, evaluating setbacks, and keeping things flexible.

If you’ve ever tried to build a routine around injury, recovery, or just needed to figure out your own “minimum effective dose” of movement, this one’s for you.
