Episode Description:
If you've ever found yourself stuck in a cycle of hesitation, waiting for the “right” time to begin something important, this episode is for you. I’m diving into the mindset around starting something new and the emotional weight we often attach to potential failure. You might already know the logical stuff. You know failure is part of learning. You know you’ll get better by doing. But emotionally? It still hits hard when your self-worth feels tied to your progress.

The fear of failing isn’t always about failing. It’s about what that failure says about us. But here’s the truth. The fear won’t vanish overnight. You just get better at seeing it for what it is… uncertainty. And with time, uncertainty becomes something you work with instead of run from.

I also talk about what really happens when you take action before you're ready. Spoiler alert… it usually doesn’t stick. But when you're genuinely ready, even if you don’t have the tools, the roadmap, or the confidence, you’ll figure it out along the way. Starting creates momentum. And momentum builds your process.

I share how that’s played out for me in podcasting and how letting go of perfection helped me find my own flow. Your process doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s. Actually, it shouldn’t. Because your process is part of what makes your work uniquely yours.

So if you’re caught in the loop of “should I start or should I wait,” this is your reminder that it’s okay to wait until you’re ready. And it’s also okay to start even if you’re not sure what comes next. When it’s your time, you’ll know.
