The biggest thing to take from the first game of the preseason was that this Vikings team clearly is better coached than it's been for quite sometime. The gaping holes you saw in several places last preseason and all year, were not nearly as evident Friday night, tell tale signs of improved coaching. Matt Cassel most likely will be the starting QB this season, as Teddy Bridgewater, not unusual for rookies at his position, looked pretty raw in game number one.
