Something i want to share is that this is something that I still struggle with. This is why it is on the podcast. Because it's something I have to be aware of and pay attention to.

In this episode I talk about the signs that your living your life for someone else. How that doesn't support your overall vision. I talk about how to fix it and how your worth is sometimes determine by how "helpful" you are as a person. Then how to change how you see yourself as worthy.

-look at someone else’s calendar before your own 

-do things for others before you 

-when you wake up your first thought is someone else

-looking forward to the end of the day more because someone is coming home 

-focused on giving and getting things for others first 

-you dont have goals or dreams that are your own

HOW TO STOP 

1. DO SOMETHING FOR YOURSELF BEFORE YOU LEAVE YOUR ROOM 
2. REPROGRAM YOURSELF TO THINK ABOUT YOURSELF FIRST WHEN BEFORE YOU GET OUT OF BED. 
3. PLAN OUT YOUR GOALS OF WHERE YOU WANT TO BE BEFORE YOU TALK TO A SIGNIFICANT OTHER OR FAMILY MEMBER 
4. HAVE A REMINDER 
5. WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU MEASURED HOW FAR YOU’VE COME 
6. BASING YOUR DECISIONS ON WHAT YOU WANT

Takeaway + Action: When your living your life for someone else you become resentful and angry that you spend so much time putting them first. But it doesn't make you a bad person for wanting to put yourself first. An action step is to put a sticky note on your night stand that says do something for yourself before you leave the room.
