She's also made a name for herself in the interior design community with her celebrated podcast.
Collins is ready to impart her knowledge and passion for design in a new city with a fresh approach. Along with her husband Blayre Ellestad and their two children Hugh and Annie, she is ready to make her mark! Laura’s goal is to create spaces that feel unique to each client and keep you guessing. She's known for integrating antique with new finds, leading to a strong balance in her designs. Her expertise spans full-scale renovation projects to decorative ones, with each project being a new opportunity to expand her skill set and create beautiful homes. She's known for her use of unlikely objects and layers of color, creating the most successful spaces.
But that's not all! Laura is also venturing into the world of content creation. Her first show, "Lor's World," is currently in development and will encompass her journey from Toronto to Calgary, the juggle of family life while designing her rental property in an industrious way. Her podcast by the same name was launched in Spring 2023, where she interviews creatives and entrepreneurs alike.
