Exodus 5:1–6:1, Moses and Aaron make demand of Pharaoh, and things go worse than the expected, and the people turn on Moses! Mark 15:33–47, from noon to 3 PM that first Good Friday, Jesus languishes on the cross, until he dies. So he is on the cross for a total of six hours. The body is hastily removed from the cross, and placed in a tomb, because the sabbath is about to begin. On the sabbath day, Jesus, as is completely appropriate, will rest.
