Jeremiah 30:1–24, Jeremiah’s focus switches from the disaster which is coming to the great blessing and promise that God makes to his people concerning events after the captivity. Matthew 26:57–75, Jesus is placed under oath, and asked to admit whether he thinks he’s the Christ. Jesus’ answer is couched in the language of Daniel chapter 7.
